I enjoy working one-on-one to assess needs, research the local landscape, and toss around ideas. Services are available virtually, in person, and as a hybrid mix. We can discuss whether a one-time consultation might give you all the time you need, or whether you’d be better served with multiple chats or even constant availability via retainer. Ultimately, I’ll work with you to design the perfect solution.
Program & Service Design
I will work with you to identify, design, and launch the library services and educational programs most critical for your community. I can also help ensure your eligibility for state and federal funding by aligning your programs with local and state master plans for education, digital equity, and public services. For library associations and state library agencies, I can help you prepare the libraries you serve to be local leaders in their own communities.
Admin & Staff Support
I’m passionate about supporting the people behind the library. That means supporting administration in setting inclusive policies, dealing with challenges and current issues, and thinking strategically as an advocate for the organization. It also means helping staff understand the big picture of their library’s impact on the community and the values that underpin their administration’s decisions. Library workers have a tough job; I’ll help ease internal tension.
